Chapter Illustrations

A little light relief from writing – Could you help me to decide if I should have individual chapter illustrations, or to keep the same image throughout the book? Birds of prey take a large part in my second novel, The Middle Distance. They act as precursors to events and as the brittle bones upon which I layer my rather mystical plot upon.

  1. Birds of prey hunt alone is perhaps a parameter that needs to be observed. Under what preconditions would there be more than one? This may be a factor in your decision making process. Hope this helps a tiny bit.

    1. Thank you, MacDee! I’m bringing seagulls into the story too – it’s not just for ‘twitcher’ purists
